| 等級 | Licence categories (s.68): electrical engineer, master electrician, journeyman electrician, wireman, lineman, apprentice, engineer-in-training. Exams are specified for master (s.75), journeyman (s.76) and wireman (s.77). |
| 考試形式 | Not stated in the Ordinance. Experience prerequisites: wireman needs 5 years, 3 of them as an apprentice, and covers installations up to 200 A. Journeyman needs 5 years as a supervised wireman and 10 years in the field, and covers up to 500 A. Master needs 15 years in the field and 10 as a licensed journeyman, a good working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and Building Code, and covers unlimited ampacity. The Board may exempt applicants from the exam. |
