How the Texas practice is built
The Tsai Electro founder built the Texas Journeyman practice the way he wishes he had been taught. Practice includes a versioned NEC reference registry, timed navigation drills, worked calculation solutions, and dated correction records. Every answer that relies on the code names its NEC article and section. Every question is checked in a separate review pass, and an outside reviewer has checked Journeyman questions against the printed 2026 NEC. You can report an error from any question.

Taiwan’s national Class B Indoor Wiring Technician certificate and a certificate of completion for sewer user drainage installation training. He has worked in MEP and site coordination on major builds, including a project honored at the 25th Public Construction Golden Quality Awards.
Do you teach code compliance?
I explain concepts and typical practices and point to the code sections, citing NEC articles by number. Always follow your local code, your inspector and your site’s rules.
How do you keep content accurate?
I list sources with the date I read them, and every confirmed correction to the practice questions is published with its date. You can report an error from any question or through the contact page.
I’m a beginner. Where should I start?
If you want to work as an electrician in Texas, start with the Texas license ladder: apprentice license first, then the Journeyman exam. If you only want to understand the wiring in your home, start with the home electrical guides and always switch off and test before you touch anything.
