Electrician Certification Course in New Zealand: Registration Explained

On this page

Quick answer: In New Zealand, being a certified electrician means EWRB registration plus a practising licence. The course behind it is a Level 4 electrical qualification done as an apprentice. It includes written exams in Electricians Theory and Regulations. The alternative experience pathway needs 4 years (8000 hours), practical assessments in 3 stages, and the same exams.
