The ET Editorial standard

How Texas Electrical Career Weekly decides what goes in.

Every item links to its source

Each window, event, money item, tip and number links to the page that publishes it, such as TDLR, TWC, the U.S. Department of Labor or the apprenticeship program itself, with the date we last checked it.

We only print what we have read

An item goes in only after an editor opens the original page and reads it. Search result snippets and second-hand summaries never go in as facts.

Corrections are public

When we get something wrong, we fix the issue and log the change, with its date, on the corrections page.

Readers keep us current

If a date, price or rule has changed, tell us with the form on this page. We check every report against the official source.

No paid placement

Schools, programs and employers cannot pay to be included. We never sell or share the subscriber list.

Signed by ET Editorial

Every issue is written and checked by the ET Editorial team and carries the date it was last checked.
