What Score Do You Need on the Electrical Apprenticeship Aptitude Test? (Texas, 2026)

Short answer: it depends on the JATC. Three Texas JATCs publish a minimum: North Texas 5, South Texas 4 and Texas Gulf Coast 3. Houston and Austin say only “qualifying score”. A qualifying score gets you an interview, and the interview decides your rank.

The electrical training ALLIANCE says applicants are told whether they qualified, not their exact score. (ETA)

From each program’s own page, checked October 9, 2026.
