Common questions

Can I review the questions before buying?

Yes. Try the five sample questions above for free, with no login required. They are included in the full 40-question PDF, so you can check the question style, explanations, and official source links before purchasing.

Which NEC edition does the Wisconsin exam use?

DSPS currently lists the 2023 National Electrical Codebook (NEC) or Handbook as an allowed exam reference. The exact date on which all exam questions were updated to reflect the 2023 NEC could not be verified. Check the current DSPS Journeyman Electrician exam instructions before your test.

How many Wisconsin rules questions are on the exam?

Not published. Neither the DSPS pages nor the Pearson VUE handbook give an allocation table, so this module does not claim a share. It has 40 original questions on Wisconsin statutes and rules.

Can I bring SPS 305 and SPS 316 into the exam?

DSPS allows, in one binder, Wis. Admin. Code SPS 305, Wis. Admin. Code SPS 316, and printed notes. It also allows a 2023 NEC or Handbook and up to two printed, bound reference books. Check the DSPS page for the binder rules.

Does it include NEC practice questions?

No. It covers Wisconsin rules and licensing only. DSPS does not allow practice or previous exams as notes. This PDF is for study before exam day and is not an exam-day reference. Check the current DSPS instructions before your test.

How do I get it?

After payment the PDF is available from your order confirmation and your order email. Print it or read it on screen.

How does the timed drill work?

Each printable drill has 10 questions. Set your own 24-minute timer as a suggested practice target. Drill timing follows the exam’s overall pace of 100 questions in 4 hours, which is 2.4 minutes per question. DSPS gives no separate time limit or question count for state-law questions.

What if I am not satisfied?

Ask within 30 days of payment and you get a full refund if you have not downloaded the paid files. If a paid file is broken or the product is clearly not what its page describes, you choose a full refund or a working replacement, even after downloading.
