Electrical Apprenticeship Interview and Application: Time, Place and What to Bring in Texas

Updated About 3 min read

Your program sets the test or interview time and place and tells you what to bring. Check its own applicant page for the exact list of identification, transcripts, licenses, fees, submission methods and deadlines. Houston, for example, requires original ID documents but accepts official transcripts sent electronically by the school. Do not use another program’s checklist for your application.

Time and place

  • The program tells you. North Texas says its committee notifies applicants of the date and time. Austin sends your test date by email.
  • Arrive early. San Antonio asks you to arrive 30 minutes early on interview day.
  • Dress neatly. North Texas lists personal appearance among the things its committee considers.
