Who it is for
Use it if you are comparing Texas lineworker school, Class A CDL preparation, groundman entry, or utility apprenticeship applications. It does not promise admission, a test result, a license, or a job.
License and employer rules
Texas does not have a blanket rule that line work needs no license. Non-exempt electrical work within the TDLR Journeyman Lineman limited scope requires the applicable license. Any exemption depends on the actual work, equipment control, purpose, and location. Verify the current program or employer instructions before acting.
