Texas Apprentice Hours Log & License Renewal Kit (ELC017 Preparation)

Starting your first electrical job? Keep the work records a supervising master electrician will need, and make your apprentice-license renewal dates visible from the start.

What you can do with the included files

  • Record 500 daily work entries and 20 supervisor profiles, with separate recorded hours and screened Texas-master hours toward 7000/8000 milestones. These are preparation calculations, not TDLR approval.
  • Prepare one supervisor summary with the ELC017 fields, work categories, dates, license details and actual duties; the supervising master electrician must complete and sign the official form.
  • Review employer/date mismatches, overlaps, missing verification and an editable weekly-hours warning threshold.
  • Enter your license expiry and as-of date to calculate renewal reminders and indicated late-fee tiers. You set your own calendar reminders; the files do not send alerts.
  • Use first-day, first-week, safety-conversation and weekly-review checklists in a 12-page guide, with official TDLR/OSHA sources. Information organization, not legal advice.
  • Print a 2-page supervisor-log and renewal worksheet, with the blank supervisor worksheet on its own page.
  • Download complete English and Spanish editions, separate editable Excel files and printable PDFs. Excel/Google Sheets imports may differ; verify calculations in your own copy.
